Tool Requirements

  • Electric drill
  • Hammer
  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • 5/16 inch drill bit
  • Pencil

Installation Instructions

  1. Disconnect power to the appliance.
  2. Disconnect all hoses and connections.
  3. Remove the appliance from the area in which The Appliance Slide will be placed.
  4. Ensure that the floor is clean and free of any debris.
  5. Position The Appliance Slide on the floor. Allow a minimum of 6 inches of clearance from the wall to the rear adjustment plate.
  6. Ensure The Appliance Slide is straight and even on the floor.
  7. Fully extend The Appliance Slide.
  8. Using a marking pencil, mark in the center of each hole directly on the floor. (ENSURE THAT EACH HOLE IS MARKED ON CENTER).
  9. Remove The Appliance Slide from the floor.
  10. Drill each mark that was made on the floor approximately 1/8" deeper than the plastic anchors.
  11. Remove all debris from each hole ensuring that no concrete dust, wood shavings or tile particles are present.
  12. Place a plastic anchor in each previously drilled hole and gently tap, using the hammar, until the plastic anchor becomes flush with the floor.
  13. Measure your washer or dryer from front to back. Then check to see if the washer or dryer will fit into the carrier tray on The Appliance Slide.
  14. If depth adjustments are needed, remove the bolts & nuts from the rear of The Appliance Slide carrier tray and adjust to the proper depth..
  15. Fully extend The Appliance Slide and place on top of the plastic anchors ensuring that all holes are aligned.
  16. Insert a Phillips head screw into each of the holes and screw down until they become secure and tight. Ensure each screw is completely screwed in or the unit will not function properly.
  17. The Appliance Slide might feel tight when first pushed in or pulled out.
  18. Work The Appliance Slide in and out several times before replacing the appliance.
  19. Pick up the appliance and sit directly into the carrier tray. DO NOT DROP the appliance into the carrier tray. Reconnect all lines.
  20. Do not overlaod machine. Excessive overload or off balance loads could cause damage to The Appliance Slide tracks. If load becomes off balance during normal operation, stop the cycle and adjust load evenly.

  21. Do not climb on or place heavy objects on top of the appliance due to possible damage to The Appliance Slide tracks.
  22. Do not allow any children or unauthorized persons to slide the appliance in or out. Serious injury or death could result.
  23. Inner packing material should be disposed of properly after The Appliance Slide is unpacked. Do not allow children to play with inner packing material
